Karash Residency

2011

Exposition of easel painting «Karash» had successfully finished in Kyrgyz National G. Aitiev’s Museum of National Arts from 27 of November till 11 of December 2014. Group of famous artists presented their works to society, which were made according to art residence of «Bilimkana» fund. Professionals and amateurs, everybody who is in the interest of fine arts had already heard about

    «ART KANA » project, the cooperation of Art and Education. We had already made 10 residences of etude art, beginning from summer 2013.5 exhibitions of a landscape was made in the capital of Republic - Bishkek! More than 60 artists from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakstan, and Russia had taken participate in that project! Seasonal open-air practices in different regions of Kyrgyzstan were helpful, and for artists, and for school’s networks«BILIM KANA .» Project participants were provided: workshops, meals, and accommodation. And the artists by their work helped establish schools creative, aesthetically rich, atmosphere. This is an example of sustainable interaction between the arts and education; this is a prime example of social partnership. This is a revival of landscape traditions of painting in Kyrgyzstan! Etudes-sentiments have their own place in the fine arts of Kyrgyzstan, they have own viewer and a buyer! But the project «ARTKANA » develops, and now we, the artists and organizers, summing up the first residence of easel Easel painting in the modern world has lost its former importance. But can we talk about the complete disappearance of traditions? Can you talk about that forever gone the days when the works of artists became an occasion for public debate: on the state of society, the policy of the state, the moral character of the citizens, the meaning of life, at last?

 

    In our opinion - it is not a theoretical question: artists in practice have to prove that their product may still be interested in the audience, contribute to the improvement of morals, to develop the country! Now in the fine arts, Kyrgyzstan continues the tradition of Soviet methods of realism and Soviet modernism. Artists often use the principles of postmodernism in the new century. In recent years, strengthened the new line - the search for national identity in the great past, heroic epics, in particular spirituality nomadic culture. This is an important and beneficial trend, but arts, actually responding to today’s realities, we have virtually none. It is clear that this problem will not be solved by organizing one exhibition.

Artists in easel painting Residence work freely, they are not dependent on the commercial and ideological factors.I t was, above all, the implementation of the artist’s ego. And if the artist did not want to do the actual work - he did not do it. But artists have formed a project, and the project itself shaped paintings. It happened and it is - the main thing. The project started in mid-July 2014. The summer artists spent in school in the village of Luxembourg. In the fall the

residence based in the village of Shabdan mountain valley Chon Kemin. The range of work has received wide: from the scene of mystical realism to postmodernism.

Все проекты прекрасны, если правильно поставлена цель, задачи и их решения. И нам выпала удача принять
участие в этом проекте. Систематическая работа в большом зале с коллегами, общение и рассуждения о картинах и идеях,
это большой урок для всех участников проекта. Получая опыт в совместной работе, преследуя одну цель – быть вместе
и создать картину, выданную твоей душой, твоим внутренним миром, не это ли творческое наслаждение! Я надеюсь и верю в будущее этого проекта, и желаю успехов нашим координаторам.

Zhunushev Zhakshybek

Бывали
трудные дни, когда после долгих разговоров и обсуждений в
голове путались разные образы, неопределенные форматы,
но это и подтолкнуло нас к поиску выхода. Надеюсь, наши
труды оправдаются. Лично я проверил себя на больших
форматах, и это здорово. Главный плюс этого проекта: он
объединяет художников, работающих в разных жанрах
и в разных стилях. Наверное, суть творческого процесса
в этом. Искренне желаю, чтобы этот проект притягивал
других талантливых художников, которые будут поднима

Художники работали, общались, спорили, иногда открыто конфликтовали. Рассуждали о том, как делать картины,
чтобы их не стыдно было выставить на суд публики. И хотя участники проекта уже не молоды, это был процесс самообразования.
Наша традиционная школа предполагает процесс изменения самого художника. Художник не учитель зрителя, но он должен быть в курсе общественных проблем и уметь
размышлять о них пластически. Он должен представить зрителю компетентное мнение, выраженное пластически. Осведомленность – это важная часть его профессии.
Художник формирует картину, и картина формирует художника.
